AZW3 (KF8) format is now an upload option! - Posted 1 day, 17 hours agoAs Amazon transitions to AZW3/KF8 for their ebooks, more uploaders will need to designate their ebooks separately from the older MOBI (Mobi 7) format. Thus, you can now choose "AZW3" under the ebook format options, when uploading. You can also select it for requests, as a format you're willing to accept to fill a request.If you're unfamiliar with AZW3/KF8, you can learn more about it here: MobileRead Wiki: KF8. It's also been discussed a bit on our own forum. In the upcoming future, further revisions and adjustments will be made to the site to accommodate this new format (e.g., rules, tutorials, etc.). Feel free to share questions or information you learn about AZW3 in the forum, as other members might benefit from what you discover!

There are two topics that need your attention, as members of Bibliotik. We are considering the future of anonymous uploading, as well as the continuation of the flag. If decided, these options may be discontinued (or limited, at the very least). If you feel there is a case to be argued for (or even against) either of these options, please make your case in the following threads:

• The Case for Scene Uploads?
Staffers will be able to use these discussions to help inform their decisions on both of these topics. So take a moment, read the threads, and add your voice to the conversation!
