[HDB] Remux Rules
After discussion with Valerio the rules for Remuxes are the following (For now).In an MKV Container with header stripping turned off!
1. Unedited Video
2. Compressed Audio with FLAC for Native Audio language. (i.e. English Film, English, French Film, French)
3. All SUP files on the source you are REMUXing.
4. Any commentary tracks in the native AC3 / DTS.If they are DTS Express, exclude.
Optional: Including Chapters; though I'd like this to be a rule it can't be a reason for a NUKE / Proper.
Please don't bitch about the rules.Just go with them for now, if you want remuxes on the site then please go with it.
The only area I think might need discussion is 2.Where if we have enough non HDMI users, we will need to switch FLAC for the audio core and include the FLAC like we would for encodes.
Exception to 2 is ANIME as with the main site rules.
Please let's make this work everyone.If you all bitch and want to show off what wonderful moderators you are, this won't work; Valerio will pull permission and no one wins.
Please state your source, and preferably the Torrent address in the description, so that the SUP rule can be seen to be followed.
The reason for not using dox for the sups is that they will fill it up -very- fast; and cause a storage issue.

How to create a REMUX:
0. You really need to have Haali installed: http://mirror01.x264.nl/x264/MatroskaSplitter_v1.11.288.0.exe
1. You need to use eac3to.Please don't create a REMUX with any other utility (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/eac3to).
2. http://www.mediafire.com/?mktnzym0yzy needs to be installed
3. A command line run of:
eac3to Blu-ray\BDMV\
will reveal the playlist to be used.
4. The command line to be used next is: Choose the correct files for your REMUX.
eac3to Blu-ray\BDMV\PLAYLIST\correct.mpls 1:Chapters.txt 2:UntouchedVideo.mkv 3:UntouchedAudio.dtsma 7:Commentary.ac3 8:English.sup
5.Once files are fully generated, use MKVMerge or equivalent to create your REMUX.
6.An eac3to log of your remux source.Just a dump is all to show that you have the filters in 2. Installed.
Here we go; there are two types of remux.
1. Standard Remux
You must use an MKV container with
1.Untouched Video
2.Untouched Audio (if 24 Bit DTS-MA) or FLAC.
3.English Sup
4.Chapters (if available)
5.Commentary track if DTS or AC3, the track as it appears and is mandatory.If the commentary track isDTS Express this needs to be re-encoded to AAC (No more than 192 Kbps; preferably 64 Kbps or so ) or excluded.
6.Optional:You can include as many sups as you wish, as long as the total number of tracks is -less- than 32.Each separate file counts as a track.
2. Hybrid Remux
A hybrid remux is only to be used when there is a clear advantage of doing so.i.e. Better audio or better video.Sups are not a reason for a hybrid.It is YOUR responsibility to make sure they are in sync if included.
You must use an MKV container with
1.Untouched Video
2.Untouched Audio (if 24 Bit DTS-MA) or FLAC
3.English Sup
4.Chapters (if available)
5.Commentary track if DTS or AC3, the track as it appears and is mandatory.If the commentary track isDTS Express this needs to be re-encoded to AAC (No more than 192 Kbps; preferably 64 Kbps or so ) or excluded.
6.You MUST state sources used for the hybrid.i.e. Apollo 13 BluRay for Audio, Apollo 13 HDDVD for Video.With links if possible to the content on the site.

As a note:If the source is not on the site.Upload it!
If you do not include the sups in the remux, please do not upload them to dox.php.Instead create a file and put them on some file host with a link in your description.
ANIME: This can have dual audio as per rules of the site.
FLAC is to be used for TrueHD+ac3 and 16 bit DTS-MA / DTS-HR.For 24 bit DTS-MA; this should be used but if someone wants to FLAC it this is acceptable.
Description of torrent requirements:
The description must have 2 screenshots as is required for all other torrents.
A Log of eac3to to show ARCSoft or Sonic is installed.

也不知道为啥就喜欢mkv 容器，喜欢做flac 音轨（国内没有一家做flac remux 的，都是原生）
喜欢章节我还可以理解
这规则虽然是暂时的，不过目测国内站的remux 没上传可能的（需要log）{:7_738:}

You can choose to use either FLAC or untouched audio.Depending on which becomes more popular this will be what we go with.
