【TorrentVault】Site Changes and Open Signup
Hello TorrentVault users..We have today made some changes to the site. These changes are most related to our request-system, but a couple of
other things aswell.
Request System
We have given all the request rules a complete overhaul. We now allow boxsets requests, and other stuff. One of
the major changes, is the cost of making a request. It used to be 500mb, but we feel it has been abused alot, so
to weed out all the bad requests, and to make people think more about what they want/need, we have changed the cost
to 5GB per request. A request-vote will now cost 1GB, which used to be 100mb.
Its not only to weed out bad requests though, but we felt it was needed, in order to make it more attractive for
other users to help fill. 2GB isnt much for filling a 10GB boxset, considering some users got slow DSL interwebs
The new request rules can be read HERE. Please make sure that you read them before making a request.
iRC
To get more users to join us on our iRC, and to make it a bit easier for slow-connection users to get more ratio,
we have changed the iRC idle bonus from 40mb/hour to 60mb/hour. This now means you can get 1440mb/day just by idling
in our irc channel. Information on how to join our iRC, can will be found HERE, and theres a few posts in the forums aswell
Open Signups
We have had alot of requests for a new open signup. It has been years since we opened out doors to the public,
so we felt it was time to do it again for a limited period of time. The open signup will run from june 26th, until
june 30th, or atleast until an admin takes his Genkgo Biloba, and remember to deactivate it again
During these 4 days, everyone can sign up, just by going to our website..
