Fourth of July: Independence Day Collage
When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
In the spirit of the holiday, we offer up this respective collage filled with the music of films and other related works that help to convey the spirit of independence. If you aren't familiar with some of the works contained within the collage, now is the perfect time to dip your toes in and experience something new.
For those of you celebrating today, we hope that you do so in as safe a manner as possible but still remember to enjoy yourselves above all else. Even if it means celebrating your nation's independence by blowing up a small part of it!
