Movie Club

    The HDBits movie club meets once every two weeks to watch a film which we encourage members to discuss afterwards.

    The idea of the club is to bring together film lovers to discover classics and share your favourites with others.

    Every two weeks a theme will be proposed on the forums. For two days before a new movie is selected, users are able to suggest movies based on the picked theme. Then, a committee will select a movie based on users suggestions.

    For two weeks you will be able to watch the movie at your own time, but we encourage everyone to watch it on the first Sunday and come on IRC to join in on the discussion. We will set a start time for the movie so we can watch it together, and share views and thoughts on IRC in real time.
    The film discussion will also take place on the forums and of course anyone is free to discuss the film and watch it at any time they want.

New site design contest - 03/03/12

We've been playing with a new site design now for a while, and it's nearly there .. but not quite good enough for release.

Because of this we'd like one of you to make a new design for the site.

The main ideas are to provide better navigation, quicker searching and somewhere to put page/section specific buttons (new post, view new topics, my torrents etc). But any other ideas for improvements would be great.

We'd like to keep the colour scheme, but new colours will be allowed if these colours don't fit / different colours make it a lot better.

The reward will 500GB upload, and VIP status to the design that gets picked.
Any another good ideas that make it into the final design will get some sort of reward too.
