总规则
- Do not defy the expressed wishes of the staff.
- Access to this website is a privilege, not a right, and it can be taken away from you for any reason.
- Staff decisions are final. Arguing about our decisions is hazardous for you account.
- One account per person per lifetime. Anyone creating additional accounts will be banned.
- Avatars must be safe for work, non-**ographic or non-semi-**ographic. Use common sense.
- Do not post our .torrent files on other sites. Every .torrent file has your personal passkey embedded in it. The tracker will automatically disable your account if you share your torrent files with others. You will not get your account back. This doesn't prohibit you sharing the content on other sites, just the .torrent file.
- This is a torrent site which promotes sharing amongst the community. If you are not willing to give back to the community what you take from it, this site is not for you. In other words, we expect you to have an acceptable share ratio. If you download a torrent, please, seed the copy you have until there are sufficient people seeding as well before you stop.
- Trading, selling or offering invites in public is strictly prohibited, and will get you permanently banned.
- Trading, selling, sharing, or giving away your account is prohibited as well. Delete it if you no longer want it.
- You're completely responsible for the people you invite. If your invitees are caught cheating or trading/selling invites, not only will they be banned, so will you. Be careful who you invite. Invites are a precious commodity.
- Attempting to find or exploit a bug in the site code is the worst possible offense you can commit. We have automatic systems in place for monitoring these activities, and committing them will result in the banning of you, your inviter, and your inviter's entire invite tree.
- We're a community. Working together is what makes this place what it is. There are a lot of new torrents uploaded every day and sadly the staff aren't psychic. If you come across something which violates a rule, report it! Ignoring it is only damaging the community.
- We respect the wishes of other sites here, as we wish for them to do the same. Please refrain from posting links or full names of sites that do not want to be mentioned.

Uploading Rules
- Nothing Western is allowed on this tracker. This inclues also all western releases of Japanese artists! So no UTADA, no US album from BoA or releases from other artists that have been licensed in the west by labels like GanShin and the likes.
Also albums uploaded to the tracker already and later released in the west will be deleted if reported or spotted by an admin/mod. - Use romaji in the Artist field only. Also stick to the "Forname Surname" style or use the most widely used form. So leave Koda Kumi and Shiina Ringo as that, check CDJapan if unsure or ask a staff member about it - also searching if the artist already exists and how it is named here might help too.
- Do not tag your releases. Your name goes next to the upload anyway, there's no need to plaster it all over the place! Exceptions to that rule are as before Fansubbed releases.
- Check the Upload form for what categorys are available. If the type of file you want to upload is not a category, do NOT simply post it in the Misc section, ask a Staff member about it first!
- Do not upload a torrent unless you intend to seed until there are at least 1.0 distributed copies.
- Duplicate torrents in any category are not allowed. There are some exceptions to this rule which are outlined in the relevant section below.
- Do not advertise other sites in either your torrent descriptions or the contents of your torrent. We don't have any advertising, you shouldn't either.
Giving Credits to the original uploaders on other sites is allowed and actually even recommended.
- If you fail to meet the requirements or violate the rules on more than one occasion when uploading, your uploading privileges will be revoked.
Music-Specific Rules
- There is a wide variety of formats currently allowed for upload (check the upload form for a list) but PLEASE use common sense and upload in formats that actually makes sense. Use TAK/TTA and other obscure formats only if you really have to since these might give other ppl problems while FLAC for example is useable on all kinds of systems with almost no problems at all.
- MP3 in V0 (LAME VBR setting with an average bitrate of 250kbps) is our preferred lossy format. It gives the best quality at a resonable filesize.
- For Lossless files, FLAC is our preferred format since it is the most widely useable format and best adopted. Include a .cue and .log file if possible.
- Music releases should have an average bitrate of
at least
128kbps, regardless of the format. - Albums must not be ripped to a single track. If the tracks on the original CD were separate, you must rip them to separate files. If you need a tool to split up an MP3+CUE into individual tracks, you could try musiCutter.
This does NOT apply to lossless releases. Everything lossless is fine in a single file IF it includes a .cue file! - Music releases must be properly labelled and must also have corresponding tags (ID3/APEv2/Vorbis comment). There are no guidelines on if your files should be tagged with romaji or kanji, but UTF-8 and kanji is supported by most players these days and thus it is recommended to have your files nicely tagged with the original kanji.
- No transcodes or re-encodes of lossy audio files are acceptable here. There are no exceptions to this rule, no matter how rare you claim it is. The only acceptable transcodes are releases that were transcoded from a lossless source (eg. CD or FLAC).
We know that lots of the releases currently posted on japanese filesharing sites are transcodes from 128kbps to 320kbps and if we or you find such releases, report them. They will be removed to make room for real encodes. - Official lossy-mastered releases are not considered to be transcodes, and are allowed on the site.
- Music releases must be a folder containing the music, not an archive (i.e. .rar, .zip, .tar). The only exception to this is if it is a single file where a torrent of a single file would be acceptable, though still not archived.
- We recommend that music releases be properly labelled. Although this is a guideline as opposed to a strict rule, we advise that folder names in your uploads should at least be 'Artist - Year - Title'. It is also highly recommended that you include the track numbers in the file names - if a torrent without track numbers in the file names is uploaded, a torrent with the track numbers can take its place.
- Torrents should never be tagged as [REQ] or [REQUEST]. If you fill a request using Requests then everyone who voted for it will be automatically notified.
- The Artist field in the torrent name should contain only the artist name. Any tags like [Advance] or sub-genres (if you must use them) should come at the end of the Title field.
- CD sourced music must not contain pops or clicks (rip/encode errors). They will be deleted if reported.
- All music torrents must be encoded with a single encoder using the same settings. This means you cannot create a torrent which contains both CBR and VBR files, nor can you upload torrents containing a mix of APS/V2 and APX/V0.
- All music torrents must represent a complete album (ie. must not be missing tracks, or, in the case of a multi-disk release, disks).
- Duplicate torrents are not allowed on the site. These are our dupe rules:
- If there is no existing torrent of the album in the format you've chose, you can upload it in any bitrate at or over 128kbps.
- If a torrent is already up in the format and bitrate you want to upload it in, you are not allowed to upload it - it's a dupe. So if there's a 192kbps MP3 version on the site, you are not allowed to upload another 192kbps MP3.
- Once a CBR rip has been uploaded, no CBR rips of that bitrate or lower can be uploaded. For example, if a 320kbps rip is already on the site, you are not allowed to upload a 256kbps CBR.
- Once a V2 (LAME VBR setting with an average bitrate of 192kbps) rip has been uploaded, you are not allowed to upload any CBR (Constant Bitrate) torrent with a bitrate under 256kbps.
- Once a V0 (LAME VBR setting with an average bitrate of 250kbps) rip has been uploaded, you may not upload any CBR rip with a bitrate under 320kbps, nor may you upload a V1 (LAME VBR setting with an average bitrate of 220kbps).
- You may upload a V0 or 320 at any time as long as another rip with the same bitrate and format doesn't already exist. So if a V0 is on the site, you may still upload a 320 version.
- A FLAC release which contains a .log of the rip process can be uploaded when there is already a FLAC with or without a log that has CRC mismatches/errors. In that case, the existing torrent must be reported or your new one will be deleted as a duplicate.
- A rip from a different medium or release of an already existing torrent counts as a different release, and the dupe rules do not apply between the two torrents. So if a FLAC ripped from a CD is already up, you are still allowed to upload a FLAC ripped from vinyl. And if a 320kbps release of an original mastering of an album was uploaded, you are still allowed to upload a 320kbps remaster.
- Multi-album torrents are now not allowed on the site under any circumstances. That means no discographies, pitchfork compilations etc. Discographies make it a hassle for users to download individual albums, result in a lot of duplicate albums being uploaded and are generally very poor quality.
- All music torrents must be one release, so if an album is 2CDs, it is fine to upload that as a single torrent. However, uploading 2 or more different albums in one torrent is strictly forbidden. Greatest hits, best of compilations, and box sets with several CDs are ok.
Video-Specific Rules
- Again, there is a list of allowed formats in the upload form, check it out to see what is currently allowed to upload. The ISO position is for all kinds of ISO files, we do not really care if its a NRG, ISO or MDS but again, use common sense and upload in a format that other ppl can actually use!
- Regarding PV uploads, usually those get posted in MPEG2 these days but you can add a good quality re-encode to AVI/MP4 at any time and this is even appreciated for all the ppl that do not want to "waste" bandwidth and traffic on the huge MPEG2 files.
- Same goes for Concerts and the likes, if there is a DVD Image, feel free to add a AVI version of it at any time, there are always ppl that appreciate this.
