BCG - Why do you not use your referrals?

I cant really make this a poll on the front page, not until we get some reasons.

But the last 3 months, since we have put the fake page back on and referrals, also started to prune members, we have lost about 20,000 members, gained about 1100 through referrals

but we have been giving you 30,000-40,000 referrals every month.

This is not really what we had planned, yes we wanted to get rid of the dead wood, but we did want a steady influx of new members coming in, to replace the deadwood that we removed, It just doesnt look like its working at all.
