x264.me's 7th Birthday!

That's right, it's that time of the year again! Our 7th birthday is here, and like always we're celebrating with at least a couple weeks of festivities. This first week we will be doing site-wide 2x upload on all torrents, and a nice selection of new Internal encodes will be uploaded. The second week we will extend the celebrations to 2x upload and site-wide free leech on all existing torrents. Please note that we specifically mention existing torrents there, because new non-Internals will not be made free as we don't want the site flooded with inferior encodes. However, if everyone behaves we may extend the celebrations further and do a 3rd week of festivities that includes free leech on new non-Internals as well.
2012-10-16 - 2x upload for all torrents turned on.

All user classes are getting their default number of slots increased. For new members in the User class they will start off with 20 slots, then their slots will increase to 50 once certain ratio conditions are met (see FAQ). Power Users will get 150 slots, and Elite will get an elite amount. Veteran+ will also now have more slots than they'll probably ever need.

Please remember that the hit and run rules still apply, and although these slot increases should give everyone plenty please remember if you need more you just need to ask by sending a Staff PM to the Moderator class requesting such, or contact staff in the help channel on IRC.
