Alright, this will be a longer post. Please take the time to read it completely.

Let's make it short. Today is Birthday time!
5 years after the birth of DEEPBASSNiNE we look back and celebrate what we achieved together in the last years. Now the time has come to release the long awaited "rc2" code.

We switched our code base to the latest version of what.cd's gazelle. While doing so we also took the chance to migrate from the xbtt tracker to what.cd's small,efficient and nice ocelot!

Since our site IP changed you may have to restart your torrent client to clear its DNS cache.

Besides the visual changes and the new awesome default stylesheet of the site, this comes with many new features and changed things that you better get to know by yourself by using the site

The most notably is the separation of artists for torrents with multiple artists. As a result of this, the you should be able to find torrents featuring multiple artists in collaboration on the corresponding artists pages. Previously this created new "pseudo" artists. Also Various Artists should be considered deprecated, please fill in the appropriate information on your new uploads.
However, this also requires the help of you as users (for those with editing privileges) to change the existing data and check if groups were properly migrated.

If you torrents with unseparated multiple artists, please take the time to add them.
We will later add wiki articles that describe the process of this.

Another addition that affects you as a user is the new possibility to upload torrents "anonymously". Of course this doesn't hide your IP address from other peers in a torrent swarm, but it removes your name from (hopefully) everything that is related to you being the one who uploaded it.
For now we anonymized the site log entries for all uploads from users with high paranoia settings (check the new paranoia settings), but didn't mark all the torrents as anonymous.
If you want to mark all your torrents as anonymous, you can do so at /user.php?action=anonymous.

We also added the often requested /better.php which should give newcomers the possibility to improve their ratio as well as improving the overall content of the site.
