每次uT一更新版本管理组信箱就有无数信息……干脆发个公告了

管理组不会第一时间支持新版本的客户端, 其原因是新客户端的稳定性存疑, 而PT这一高压力持续运行的使用环境下对于稳定性的要求尤其高.

因而, 所有新版本客户端都默认处于被禁止状态. 一段时间后管理组若没有发现该版本有严重问题的情况下, 就会加入支持列表

因此, 我们强烈建议所有用户不要打开客户端的自动安装/检查更新选项. BT协议产生已久, 各客户端的基本功能已经十分成熟, 版本号增长难以带来相应的功能更新和错误修复.

尤其是uTorrent客户端, 自uTorrent 3.3以来, 该软件几乎所有版本更新都集中于在客户端内添加更多广告, 以及一些你们根本用不上的多媒体功能

对于稳定性和传输速度有极端要求的用户, 我们推荐 2.0.4 和 2.2.1, 这两个版本的稳定性和性能强于3.0以后任何版本, 且广告数量很低, 界面简洁

对于兼容性有较高需求的用户, 我们推荐3.2.3, 这个版本支持少数较为极端的种子(如TLMC, 站内目前不足10个此类种子).

U2 will NOT add support for new versions of Bittorrent clients immediately. The reliability of new versions need to meet the high requirements, and it needs time to be proved.

Thus, all new versions will be banned by default. Staff will add support to/unban them after a period of time if no serious problem is reported.

It's strongly recommended that DO NOT use the "Check for updates" feature of ALL Bitorrrent clients. Bittorrent Protocol is about 15 years old, which means you can hardly receive any useful feature updates or bug fixes from new versions of the client. Especially uTorrent, whose new versions were mainly focused in MORE ADs and useless multimedia features since uTorrent 3.3.

We recommend uTorrent 2.0.4 and 2.2.1 to all users who need extreme performance and reliability. Those two versions are more stable than all uTorrents after 3.0, and have less ADs.

We recommend 3.2.3 to users who need to download/seed mega torrents like TLMC. U2 has less than 10 torrents of this kind currently.
