The new LinkStation 400 Series boasts high-performance network storage and features an upgraded processor for transfer speeds of over 80MB/s. Its new user interface offers a new look and feel in addition to its intuitive navigation and easy-to-use setup wizards. The LinkStation 400 Series sports a black matte-finish chassis and is available in a single-drive, two-drive or diskless. The new family of NASs are also the first to feature the new BuffaloLink remote access and content management service, which is free for the life of the product.
LinkStation 410D will replace the LinkStation Pro (LS-VL) and will be available at an estimated street price of $229 for the 2 TB (LS410D0201), $269 for the 3TB (LS410D0301) and $399 for the 4 TB (LS410D0401).
LinkStation 420D will replace the LinkStation Pro Duo (LS-WLV/R1) and will be available at an estimated street price of $289 for the 2 TB (LS420D0202), $369 for the 4 TB (LS420D0402), $469 for the 6 TB (LS420D0602) and $719 for the 8 TB (LS420D0802).
LinkStation 421E will replace the LinkStation Pro Duo (LS-WVL/E) and will be available at an estimated street price of $149 for the diskless enclosure (LS421DE).
Buffalo’s LinkStation 400 Series comes with a three-year limited warranty and includes toll-free 24/7 US based technical support. All three configurations will be available in early 2013.
